The Corpse-Bearer's Coffin Question

I went against all the ancestral instructions of the corpse-carrying craftsmen and carried a talking corpse on a thunderstorm night. She lay on my back and said in my daughter's voice, "Dad, it's so crowded in the coffin." The next day the whole village said I was crazy because the black coffin was still in the mass grave and the corpse on my back was wearing a shroud and sitting on the threshold of my house combing its hair. What's even more terrifying is that I found that the way she combed her hair was exactly the same as my wife who disappeared three years ago.
