Ye Lingshuang, an inheritor of ancient martial arts and esoteric arts in the modern world, accidentally touches a fragment of the Light-Tracing Mirror and transmigrates into the useless Qing Lan Sect disciple Su Yunxi in the Profound Abyss Realm. Hiding her dual secret identities as the “Ghost Doctor” and “Dark Lord,” she stirs up the world of alchemy and commands an intelligence empire while searching for the fragments and uncovering the truth behind her transmigration. Mo Yuanchen, young lord of the Netherworld Ruins in the Profound Abyss Realm, is ambushed by his uncle. His soul possesses Chu Jingchen, the ailing young lord of the Heavenly Evolution Sect, and he takes on the identities of “Lord of the Abyss” and “Sage of Go,” patiently laying plans to exact revenge and seize power. A trial in the Fallen God Abyss brings these two formidable forces together by chance. From testing each other to seeing their secret identities exposed one after another, the pair recognize kindred spirits and form an alliance. Together, they fight Chu Xuanfeng, who schemes to seize control of the three realms. Amid sect rivalries and the fires of war in the Netherworld, they carefully advance their plans and hold fast to their principles amid the vortex of political intrigue. When all the fragments of the Light-Tracing Mirror are gathered, the hidden crisis threatening the three realms comes to light. Ye Lingshuang and Mo Yuanchen clasp hands and choose to stand side by side, surveying the Nine Heavens as co-rulers and writing a legendary tale of their rise against the odds.
