Before removing the corpse, "three animal offerings" (pork, carp, steamed buns) must be placed on the ice to worship "Grandpa Jiang Shen" and "Lao Ba". "Head"; the ritual of suppressing evil spirits is divided into three levels. For ordinary cold evil spirits, "smoke the body with mugwort + draw talismans with cinnabar"; for evil evil spirits, "immortals can be used to help chant + willow nails to calm the soul"; and for top evil spirits, "the body is sealed with thousand-year-old rosin from Changbai Mountain + talismans are buried under the ice". The professional inheritance items are the "Jujube Ice Hammer" (soaked in the blood of a black dog for a hundred years and can detect evil spirits under the ice) and the "Ice Fishing Handbook").
