It’s a chaotic rescue mission that begins with “The sky is falling!” and a fantastical, laugh-out-loud adventure in which the twelve zodiac signs and their human “frenemies” are forced to team up.
The Star Core, a supreme treasure of the Astral Realm, has shattered, and twelve fragments have fallen into the human world like shooting stars. Evil Dark Star Spirits are stirring, intent on seizing the fragments and upsetting the balance of the universe.
Xiao Yu, a proud and confident Leo Star Spirit leader, is given a mission in a time of crisis. He leads a group of eccentric Star Spirit companions into the human world to find the Star Envoys destined for each of them: humans with special bloodlines who have no idea what they are. Their mission: find the fragments and protect the world.
But ideals are grand, while reality is harsh:
· The first Star Envoy he meets, Lu Yao, is a tough, no-nonsense woman who firmly believes that “astrology is all a scam.” At their first meeting, she greets this “visitor from the stars” with pepper spray.
This is a playful fantasy romance featuring hilarious clashes between zodiac personalities, sweet bickering as the cast fights side by side, and a heartwarming, healing tale of growing together. Get ready to join these “not exactly reliable” guardians of the stars on a wondrous journey to collect star fragments, battle the darkness, and maybe fall in love along the way!
