For the first time in ten thousand years, the cultivation world was in an uproar. Shen Wujiu, the First Sword Venerable, had been jointly impeached by his own direct disciples, accused of “harboring a demon seed and bringing calamity upon the world.”
Right before everyone's eyes, his grandmaster, Xie Zhefeng, who was said to have long since passed away in meditation, emerged from seclusion. With a single palm strike, he shattered the tribunal platform, pulled Shen Wujiu into his arms, and declared before them all:
“Who do you think you are, to lay a hand on my Dao companion?”
The entire cultivation world: ???
So the aloof Sword Venerable was his grandmaster's beloved.
So the demon seed that threatened the world had been planted by the grandmaster himself.
So this whole betrayal and trial was merely part of a scheme Xie Zhefeng had laid over a thousand years: he would give the whole world to Shen Wujiu as an apology, then keep him imprisoned at his side forever.
That night, the grandmaster carried him back to his cave abode and chuckled into his ear. “My grand-disciples want to see their master fall from his pedestal. I'll make him stand even higher, right here in my arms.”
Behind a tree, Lu Changgeng, the treacherous disciple demoted to junior outer sect status, watched their entwined silhouettes and felt his Dao heart crumble completely.
“I fought tooth and nail to drag him off his pedestal, but I forgot there was a true god standing behind him.”
It's so well written but a little messy.
I'll give it three stars because it's so confusing and confusing. I don't even know what I'm looking at.
It's a mess, it seems like it was written while I was awake, it's all repetitive, a dozen chapters written exactly the same at the stand, just like the AI copy and paste.
It's nice to read, but it's a bit messy. Did the author re-write the chapters? The old manuscript was not deleted.
