Journey to the West: Reborn as the Great Sage, I Beat Tang Sanzang with My Staff from the Start

[Defying the Heavens from the Start! Sun Wukong Goes on a Rampage, and the Journey to the West Plot Falls Apart!]

Reincarnated as Sun Wukong, I just got out of Five-Finger Mountain, and the first thing I did was turn around and send Tang Sanzang to the Western Paradise with a single blow!

The gods and Buddhas in the heavens are dumbfounded. Guanyin is so furious she spits blood, and Tathagata calls an emergency meeting in the middle of the night: This monkey is acting strange!

I thought I was done for, but then I awakened the [Karma System].

Changing the plot makes me stronger, and causing trouble lets me fleece the gods and Buddhas until they're bald!

From then on, the whole Journey to the West goes completely off the rails.

Guanyin gives Tang Sanzang a tightening fillet? I make him put it on himself. One recitation of the Buddha's name, and his head explodes!

Little White Dragon as a mount? I poison him and swap him out for a dragon turtle. Tang Sanzang laughs as he rides the turtle!

Eighty-One Tribulations? I'll change them! I'll make a mess of them! I'll flip the table!

Taishang Laojun secretly slips me pills, while the Tongtian Jiaozhu gives me a thumbs-up from afar. The Buddhist sect completely loses it!

Sun Wukong hoists the Golden Cudgel and grins.

"Fetch the scriptures? Fetch what nonsense! This time, Old Sun is going to overturn Heaven and crush Spirit Mountain underfoot!"

(Hilarious subversion of expectations + prehistoric power struggles + corrupted Tang Sanzang + all-out brawl between Buddhism and Daoism)
