(Rebirth + Times Literature + Entrepreneurship) In the autumn of 1993, 45-year-old Chen Xiangdong died lonely in the wave of the times, but he opened his eyes and returned to the third-grade junior high school classroom in Hongkou Alley. In his previous life, he was a bankrupt and frustrated businessman who saw his relatives separated; in this life, he holds vague memories of the future, but is no longer an omniscient god.
This is a story about "making up" and "taking root". He wanted to break into the steel factory workshop on the eve of his father's work injury, force his mother into the medical examination room before she coughed up blood, and hold back his childhood friends and close friends who should have fallen. From a 5-square-meter clothing stall on Huating Road to an office building on the east bank of the Pujiang River, he relied on his subtle memory of Shanghai's urban changes to explore among fabrics, bricks, and codes.
But rebirth is not a panacea. Inherited high blood pressure follows him everywhere, and his forward thinking hit a wall in the 1990s. But deep down emotionally, he is still afraid of intimacy and commitment. In the fireworks at Shikumen and in the ripples of the Suzhou River, Chen Xiangdong, his family, and partners jointly performed a Shanghai narrative of the defectives dancing with the times - not a Shuangwen-style crushing, but clumsily and tenaciously making regrets worth living in every ebb and flow of the tide.

The writing is really good. The environment and characters described evoked my memories of that era. The peaceful life of the common people. The smoke of fireworks in the alleys came to my face. I read the memories and thanked the author for his careful creation. Thank you.
Not bad, interesting life
