Lin Bufan is an ordinary transmigrator who just wants to turn the wasteland into his ideal city.
From the start, he's surrounded by zombies, while survivors beat one another bloody over a bottle of water.
They see me clutching a pile of scrap metal and think I'm starving.
But I've activated the [Cornerstone of Civilization System] and am quietly assembling a generator in the corner.
Everyone (mocking): “This idiot won't make it through the day.”
The next second, the whole building lights up, and everyone is dumbstruck.
A group of power-awakened thugs comes to seize territory, thinking they can knock everyone out with a single punch.
They see how mild-mannered I look and think I've wet myself in fear.
But I pull out an industrial-grade arc gun and tear gas, clearing the place in an instant.
Wang Hu (kneeling and begging): “Big brother, I was wrong! Stop shocking me, I'll be cooked!”
Me (coldly): “Oh, perfect. That's an extra dish for dinner.”
An official team makes it to me through untold hardships, planning to “rescue” us poor souls.
They see people in my base watching movies and eating bread, and think they've walked into paradise.
But I hand their captain a “Talent Exchange Plan,” trading a steady supply of electricity and food for their top mechanical engineer.
Captain (bewildered): “We came to rescue you. Why are you poaching our people?!”
Later, the Corpse Emperor appears, aliens invade...
They think the apocalypse has leveled up. I just think my experimental materials have shown up at my door again.
“Don't get me wrong. I'm not targeting anyone in particular. I'm just saying that every single one of you here is part of my labor force.”
It feels like there are too many details, and many things are not explained clearly. A bit baffling. But the overall idea is still good. Creativity is also good. There are obviously a lot of things that I can see that have some follow-up, but there is nothing. For example, the security team you recruited. Where is their original base? No explanation at all.
