Lin Daiyu wakes up to find that she has transmigrated.
Not only has she transmigrated, she has become that eight-foot-tall, ten-waist-girth, beef-faced monk: Lu Zhishen!
Looking at these bulging arms and feeling that bald head,
Lin Daiyu breaks down.
This is worse than dying!
She had wanted to compose poetry and drink ginseng-nourishing tonic.
But this body only wants to gulp down bowls of wine and gobble huge chunks of meat!
She had wanted to keep herself pure and stay away from violence.
But this body is always itching to “beat people to death and be done with it”!
This is the story of a delicate young lady,
forced to wear a fearsome face,
going wild in the world of Water Margin.
Zhen Guanxi: “You bald brute, how dare you!”
Lin Daiyu (Lu Zhishen): “You filthy wretch, just standing here, you pollute this little patch of pure ground! Take this!”
Shi Jin: “Brother Lu, there's a tavern up ahead. Shall we go eat some meat?”
Lin Daiyu: “Meat? No, I want a vegetarian meal! Clean tofu pudding! If the place is dirty, I'll tear it apart for you!”
She uses a poet's heart to outwit warriors, and crushes the martial heroes with poetry and verse.
Though she can unleash the wrath of a Vajra, she has the heart of a Bodhisattva.
See how Miss Lin makes her way in this Water Margin world,
where rough men are everywhere, and lives out “a different kind of Lu Zhishen”!
