The Domineering CEO’s Retired Judge

Lu, a judge in the Underworld, has finally earned enough merit to retire early after eight hundred years on the job. When his superiors ask what he wishes for, he thinks it over. “I want to be reborn in the modern world as an ordinary Omega, and live a laid-back life of lying flat, eating chips, and binge-watching shows.”

His wish comes true, except for the “ordinary” part.

During his first week in his new apartment, an Alpha CEO named Shen Ye Han moves in upstairs. His pheromones are so overpowering that every Omega in the building goes weak in the knees. Worse, something unclean seems to be haunting his company, and Shen Ye Han himself has been marked by a vengeful ghost. He doesn’t have long to live.

“I just wanted to be an ordinary Omega!” Lu Li stares at the pale but still intimidating CEO before him, close to tears.

Shen Ye Han narrows his eyes and corners his new neighbor, who is always avoiding him, in the stairwell. “Mr. Lu, I’ve been having some... supernatural problems lately. You’re the only person in this building who doesn’t go weak in the knees around me. Can you explain that?”

Lu Li hugs the bag of chips in his arms. “Would you believe me if I said I’m just not sensitive to Alpha pheromones?”

“And what about the black aura around me?” Shen Ye Han steps closer. “Why are you the only one who can see it?”

The retired judge’s secret identity is about to be exposed.

Worse still, as the two become more entangled, Lu Li discovers that the vengeful ghost’s mark on Shen Ye Han is tied to a grudge spanning a thousand years, and that one of Lu Li’s judgments from eight hundred years ago may have been where it all began...
