When the identity of a lone girl from the snowy realm is revealed, she turns out to be the Spirit Flower of the Spiritual Pivot, coveted by all three realms. The Starfall Cataclysm is approaching, and the astral barrier is breaking apart. The gods covet her flower’s pistil to prolong their lives, the demons want to seize her essence to break a curse, and even her closest classmates turn their swords against her.
In the face of certain doom, she unexpectedly awakens the power of the Spirit Flower. Wherever her pale blue petals reach, demon beasts are frozen and the stars’ courses reversed. But who could have guessed that the head of the Nine Heavens Academy, who has repeatedly risked his life to protect her, is her born nemesis: Mo Yuan, young lord of the Spirit-Eater Clan?
“You and I were born enemies. I should offer you up to my clan as a sacrifice.” Cunning and calculating, he nevertheless crashes through the gates of hell with his own flesh and blood when she is imprisoned in the Spirit-Locking Tower by the Emperor. Even when the curse rebounds and robs him of his memories, he instinctively draws his sword when she is in danger. “I don’t remember the past, but protecting you feels instinctive.”
The ancient pact has been tampered with, the clan curse is a lie, and the Starfall Cataclysm is nothing but a pretext for the Emperor to control the three realms. She carries the essence of the Spirit Flower, while he wields the bloodline of the Spirit-Eaters. Defying heaven, they tear apart their fated enmity, rally the forces of justice across the three realms, and turn their swords toward the heavens as they strike back at the Nether Abyss.
When the energy of the falling stars surges beyond control, she uses herself as the core of a formation to restore the barrier. When the shackles of the curse break, he waits in the snowy realm for the flowers to bloom. This salvation spanning life and death has nothing to do with the good or evil of their respective races. It rests only on the belief that “love can defy fate, and devotion can protect the world.” Watch a lone girl rise to stand beside her nemesis, blow apart the conspiracies of the three realms, and rewrite the fate of the falling stars!
