This novel is very interesting. There are not so many intrigues or competitions for the throne. The emperor and the empress work together to straighten out the affairs of the court, taste delicious food, and have children. They are a pair of lovely twins, a twin brother and a girl, who have been together for the rest of their lives.

A heart-warming short story, there is no conspiracy, just knowing and loving each other, helping each other grow old. The male protagonist randomly chooses the love of his life. The female protagonist is the little cook and the male protagonist's little sunshine.

The story is really heartwarming and the language is very good. But it's really a bit of a Mary Sue, and some plots have the feeling of jumping back and forth between "ancient sayings" and "modern sayings".
