Seven Years Later, She Returns with a Miniature Regent to Turn the Capital Upside Down

[She flees while pregnant, a woman disguised as a man, an adorable child gives his father a hard time, two powerful schemers, hilarious banter]

“Your skills are terrible. You’re worth two coins at most!” Seven years ago, Chen Sangrou, a once-wealthy young lady fallen on hard times, spent one reckless night in a dilapidated temple. She left two copper coins and a deeply insulting note, then ran off. Seven years later, she returns disguised as a man and becomes the lowliest “ink servant” in the Prince Regent’s residence, all to steal the token that can clear her father’s name.

Rumor has it that the Great Zhou Prince Regent, Xuanyuan Chen, holds absolute power at court, is ruthless, and suffers from a severe fear of women. No one who comes within three feet of him survives. Yet, somehow, he finds himself drawn to the skinny “Clerk Chen” at his side. Xuanyuan Chen shuts his eyes in despair. “Could it be... that I’m gay?!”

Until one day, an adorable little dumpling of a child blows open the gates of the prince’s residence and points at Xuanyuan Chen’s nose, shouting, “You’re the dumb uncle who’s worth two coins?!” Looking at the miniature version of himself, Xuanyuan Chen laughs in exasperation, then corners “Chen Arm” against a wall as she tries to run away.

“Chen Sangrou, you owe me money. I’m collecting that seven-year debt tonight!”
