Back with a Baby: Dr. Gu Is Flirty and Trouble

Five years ago, the gifted perfumer Shu Wan lost her sense of smell in a car accident. Unwilling to hold back Gu Sinian, the brilliant orthopedic surgeon she loved, she left him divorce papers and vanished without a word, pregnant with his child.

Five years later, Shu Wan is a single mother raising a child. Hiding her identity, she works as a lowly rehabilitation therapist at a hospital.

Fate has a cruel sense of humor: her son, Shu Xingci, suffers an unexpected fracture, and the surgeon assigned to operate on him is none other than her ex-husband, Gu Sinian, now a revered star in the medical world.

At the moment they meet again, he is an eminent chief specialist, while she is a humble relative of a patient.

To save her son, Shu Wan is forced to sign a humiliating “24-hour personal care agreement.”

Gu Sinian thinks she had someone else’s child. He hates her to the point of obsession, yet loves her just as fiercely, launching into a deranged revenge scheme: “cold-faced doctor by day, beast in a suit by night.”

Then he discovers that a miniature version of himself is calling him “bad uncle,” and learns the heartbreaking truth behind her departure all those years ago. Their fierce tug-of-war over redemption and being redeemed, misunderstandings and winning her back, is only just beginning…
