Make Way!!! Senior Sister Has Drawn Her Sword

Lingyun Sect is hidden away in the Hanging Pavilion of Kunlun, cut off from the mortal world in accordance with its ancestral motto: “When the Azure Clouds stir, the sect shall appear.” At twenty-two, Ling Yun became the sect’s youngest Soul Transformation cultivator, then went on to become its youngest Integration cultivator. Behind this glory lay a terrible price: her younger sister, Ling Yue, sacrificed her soul to protect her during the secret-realm trials of the sect’s tournament.

She had been smiling just moments earlier, saying, “It’s not as if I’ve only wanted to be your sister for one day.” The next moment, Ling Yun watched her die before her eyes, consumed by helplessness and despair. With her heart turned to ash, she met Du’e, a Buddhist who had been born with the Buddha’s bones. Gentle and considerate, he took her to see the breadth of the mortal world, hoping to lead her out of the darkness. “The world is bursting with beauty. Open your eyes and take a look, for your sister’s sake too.”

But the myriad faces of the mortal world failed to heal Ling Yun. Instead, they revealed its wounds to Du’e. In the end, he cut away his flesh and bones, dug out his Buddha bones, and fell into demonic cultivation, becoming a demon lord. “This world is already incurably sick. It must be destroyed so a new one can be born.” Ten years passed. At thirty-two, Ling Yun finally drew her sword against him, using herself as the sword to suppress the Du’e she had once known and preserve peace in the Central Province. Yet her determination to bring her sister back had never faded.
