Devouring the Cosmos: Beginning with the Sacrifice of a Supreme Bone

A young man from a minor clan in Hanzhou, Lin Jin, bears the Nine Hells Soul-Sealing Mark and is destined to die before turning eighteen.

On his wedding day, his fiancee Su Qingyue conspires with the Holy Son of the Xuantian Sword Sect to dig out his Supreme Bone and dump him in the Mass Graveyard.

As he lies on the brink of death, his bloodline mutates. He awakens the Taotie Maw and devours the corpse energy in the graveyard.

He cultivates a fragment of the Corpse King Scripture and transforms into a half-corpse, half-human body before killing his way back to Hanzhou.

The youth whose bone was stolen awakens the power of Taotie and discovers that ascension is a lie concocted by the gods. He vows to feast on all the heavens and bury the divine beings.
