In her previous life, a woman who had transmigrated into a book stole Mujin's identity, following the plot of a beloved-by-all heroine. She took the whole family's affection for herself, then watched with a smile as Mujin met a tragic end at sea.
Reborn at the banquet where the wealthy family welcomes her home, Mujin looks at the scheming woman pretending to be innocent and can only laugh.
Fight for affection? Whoever wants to can fight over it!
With her mystical arts and gu skills, she can battle for the family fortune and make investments. She earns enough money to knock out ten Huo Groups.
Later, when the fake heiress realizes the plot is no longer working, she cries and begs her brothers to back her up. But the big shots of the entire city of Hong Kong are fighting to get through the door, waving black cards and chasing after Mujin for a fortune reading.
Even her four brothers, red-eyed, kneel and beg for her forgiveness.
Mujin signs the inheritance papers and sneers, “Forgiveness? Ask God. I'm busy.”
But when she turns, she walks straight into a man's arms.
He holds up a whole trunk of cash, grinning with reckless abandon. “I hear you love money? Perfect. Money's the only thing I have left.”
“Want to work together? Your mystic arts and my money, and we'll turn this whole city upside down.”
