The internet café fell instantly silent, then was swallowed by panicked screams and the clatter of overturned chairs. Harsh braking and shouts rang out in the streets. The world’s communications channels were flooded the next second by a tsunami of shock and alarms.
Xiao Fan leaned back in his chair, watching the number beside [Shock Points] in the System gallop wildly like a runaway horse, surging past one hundred thousand, then one million. Notifications rang out in a dense downpour:
