Hong Kong Stories: I'm an Evil Cultivator in Uncle Jiu's World

When I woke up, I had become A Wei, the security captain in Mr. Vampire.

With Old Master Ren about to turn into a zombie, I begged Uncle Jiu to take me as his disciple, but he turned me away, saying, “Your heart isn't in the right place.”

Just as I was despairing, the [Heavens' Hidden Inheritance System] suddenly awakened. I excitedly opened it. Wait, why are all these cultivation techniques forbidden arts? Why do the missions require me to steal corpse energy and consume vital blood?

Oh no, I've become a heretic cultivator!

Even more terrifying, this world extends far beyond Renjia Town.

From the Republican era to modern times, from Mountain Village Old Corpse to urban legends, from exorcist priests to Jiang Chen zombies... All those Hong Kong horror movies I watched back then have become trials I must survive.

And I have to keep this deadly secret hidden right under the noses of every righteous powerhouse.

Uncle Jiu's gaze was sharp: “A Wei, you haven't been looking well lately.”

Ma Xiaoling frowned: “Boss Zhang, your company is crawling with yin energy.”

Jiang Chen smiled faintly: “There's a scent about you that I like.”

I gripped the Soul-Eating Talisman hidden in my pocket and plastered on a smile:

“Don't get the wrong idea, big shots. I'm just an ordinary security captain, with a little side business...”
