Wuthering Waves: Solaris's Strongest Specimen!

[Main plot and hidden threads] [Behind-the-scenes schemes] [Filling in the gaps with wild ideas] [No System]

One day, the Tethys System issued a mission: find a young man named Yangli.

The boy was brought to the Black Shores, where he learned that he might have a forgotten past:

He had once walked alongside a boy in black, measuring every inch of Solaris with their footsteps. It was a legendary yet tragic past...

Civilization fell and rose again, over and over. The Lament did the same... and so did the two boys, searching among countless possibilities for the one way to save the world.

Yangli: “Can civilization only achieve its final evolution by enduring constant tempering and rebirth in such a cruel environment?”

The boy in black: “No. Human evolution shouldn't mean sacrificing some people for the brief happiness of others. Humanity's fate should be in its own hands!”

Yangli: “We've searched like this thousands upon thousands of times, yet we still haven't found a way to fight the Lament. I'm tired. I know you are too...”

The boy in black: “This time, we have Abraxas's help. Maybe we can bring this war to a definitive end!”

Now reborn, the boy Yangli stares at the flying Echo beside the boy in black in the distance, lost in thought.

“Why did we bet everything on an Echo that looks so harmless...? No, I need to find a way to warn Rover.”
