After working hard for three years, Qiao Nuonuo was finally about to become sales director, only for a man parachuted in from headquarters to snatch the position away. Well, would you look at that: he was Song Wenjing, heir to the Song family. Why would he leave the perfectly good headquarters to work at this branch on the verge of bankruptcy? And why was he always staying late, making everyone else work harder?
One dark and stormy night, the office suddenly lost power. Qiao Nuonuo had no choice but to feel her way downstairs, where she collided with Song Wenjing. They tumbled down the stairs together, and, by a stroke of bad luck, Song Wenjing hit his head and lost his memory.
Looking at Song Wenjing lying in his hospital bed, his face blank with confusion, Qiao Nuonuo came up with a plan. Three years ago, a fire had destroyed her family. Following a few clues, she had traced it back to a company under the Song Group. She had originally wanted to get a job at the Song Group, but her degree and major didn’t fit the requirements, so they turned her away. That was why she’d settled for a branch of the Song Group instead.
Now the opportunity was right in front of her. If she couldn’t get into the company as an employee, she’d become part of the Song family. Then she could get to the bottom of the truth.
Qiao Nuonuo looked at Song Wenjing with a bright smile. “I’m your girlfriend!”
And so began a series of ridiculous attempts to prove it, with flimsy excuses and over-the-top acting that sent Song Wenjing into a deep spiral of self-doubt.
She’d planned to uncover the truth, clear her parents’ names, and leave. So why did it suddenly feel like she’d gone from hunter to prey? And why was he flirting with her in return? Why was he pinning her to the bed…
Qiao Nuonuo: “Our relationship hasn’t reached that stage…”
Song Wenjing: “Didn’t you say I cling to you every day, bring you gifts, cuddle up to you, and can’t sleep unless I’m holding you? Were you lying to me?”

It looks good, but I hope it doesn't end like this. I hope there will be more analysis. It feels so exciting. But I feel a lot of doubts later on. I hope the author writes more
