Sparks Amid the Flames of War

My name is Xu Jianhua, and I'm an ordinary boy from Taohua Village. Life was peaceful and happy until a gunshot shattered the village's quiet, forcing us into the war.

Once, simply staying alive was a luxury. Now, resisting the Japanese invasion is our only hope.

“Drive the Japanese invaders back to where they came from, defend our homeland, and never bow down!” That became my only reason to keep going. Amid the flames of war, I witnessed farewells and deaths, and along this path of resistance, I grew and changed, step by step.
