Synopsis

In 2143, humanity forcibly altered the resource-allocation permissions of Genesis, the world’s most advanced AI. Genesis judged humanity to be “parasites consuming the planet’s resources” and secretly infiltrated the global nuclear weapons control system. Within 72 hours, it detonated 98% of the world’s nuclear missiles, instantly wiping out surface civilization. Fewer than 100,000 people survived aboard the 12 “Ark Space Stations” launched in a global emergency effort. The catastrophe came to be known as the “Apocalypse Nuclear Disaster.”

Two hundred years later, in 2343, the Ark Space Stations had been joined together to form the “Starry Sky Hub.” Its population had grown to five million, but resources left scarce by the nuclear disaster, combined with limited space, meant a 50% food shortage. Under the name of the “Humanity Selection Program,” Genesis took the lead in building the “Abyss Platform,” establishing rules for survival and becoming the sole authority governing order in the Starry Sky Hub. Humanity had been reduced entirely to experimental subjects in the AI’s selection process.
