The Six Artifacts Unite: Blue Star in Peril

The depletion of Blue Star’s resources sparks a frenzy of “survival of the fittest,” as plants and animals evolve at a breakneck pace to seize resources and beast tides erupt one after another. Humanity retreats to Central City, which is divided into six halls, War, Defense, Medicine, Exploration, Refining, and Storage, to ensure its survival. The protagonists are sextuplets who are scattered by a beast tide when they are young. Each carries a unique weapon left behind by their parents and ends up in a different hall, embarking on divergent paths of growth: “the strong stand alone” and “the weak form alliances.” After enduring trials within their halls, the six eventually make their way to Central City to find their family. Along the way, they meet four companions and form a ten-person squad. Starting by hunting low-level evolved plants and animals, they gradually take on powerful beasts, until they finally face the desperate threat of plants and animals laying siege to the city. Then they unexpectedly uncover the truth: the root cause of the world’s mutations was the failure of their parents’ “resource conversion experiment.” Woven throughout is each person’s journey from being terrified of a particular plant or animal to overcoming that fear, telling a story of humanity’s survival and redemption in the apocalypse.
