When I shredded a tide of monsters from the Abyss with my heavy machine gun, I thought that was all there was to transmigrating.

Then I discovered that the original owner of this body was being “deleted” by a chip, and this life-or-death contract was a death warrant in all but name.

The ace agent Lainisha, who was being hunted just like me, and I were driven into a dead end: we fell straight into a monster’s lair.

As it turned out, the dragons of the magical world ran headfirst into my rocket launcher, while the elves’ forbidden spell watched her sniper rifle carry out an “over-the-horizon strike.”

Even better, my transmigrator’s soul happened to be the perfect vessel for cultivating the most powerful forbidden magic, while her iron will was strong enough to master the most violent form of physical enhancement.

We’d meant to keep a low profile, but the “organization” that had exploited the Abyss was hot on our heels. Its blue-crystal weapons came from plundering this magical world.

And so, amid the political machinations of the elven council and human kingdoms, and on the ancient battlefield against the Abyss, the guns and staves of two “visitors from another world” quietly tipped the balance of war.

We seek no conquest. We only want to fight our way to a place of our own in this chaotic era where two worlds collide.
