Lin Mo, a graduate student in the Department of History, traveled to the Republic of China in 1932, which coincided with the "January 28th Incident". In the baptism of blood and fire, he transformed from a bystander student into a soldier determined to serve the country. In order to build a strong army, he and his best friend Chen Yuanzhou broke through family obstruction and rushed to Nanjing to challenge the harsh test of Whampoa Military Academy, starting a legendary journey from a weak scholar to an iron-blooded soldier.
