Chen Mo, the 19th Keeper of the Building, moves into Building 7 at Qiming University. While hiding his identity and posing as an ordinary student, he reinforces the rusted copper nails that suppress evil, helps wandering spirits pass on, and investigates the truth behind the wrongful death of a female student in Dormitory 307 fifty-three years ago. In the end, he destroys the blood-bound prison, breaks the generations-old curse of the Keepers, and stops the shadow realm from devouring the world of the living.
