In the "Eternal Light Ring", the world of Dyson's sphere that wraps around stars, memories can be inherited through blood. Retired god-killer Renn runs a bakery where customers can temporarily forget their troubles, just to erase the horrific memory of god-killing from his mind. However, a terrifying entity called the "Memory Corridor" that devoured everyone's ancestral memories along the bloodline quietly awakened. It smelled the unique "taste of god" in Renn's memory and locked him as the ultimate target. In order to find relief and to protect the struggling civilians in the Outer Ring, Wren had to revisit the past and delve into the darkest memory abyss of the Ring.
