Gu Changye had a burden on his heart.
Three years ago, his wife and daughter had died in a car crash, leaving nothing behind but their remains. He became a ruthless commander, living amid explosions and gunfire to atone for his guilt.
Then one day, a filthy little beggar wandered into a minefield.
The bad news: she was his biological daughter, missing for three years, and her awful relatives were selling her to a cripple as a child bride.
The wild news: she was holding a landmine whose fuse she'd just pulled out with her bare hands, and complaining that it wasn't powerful enough.
The crazier news: she stuffed the mine with lard and fertilizer, tossed it casually, and blew up half a mountain.
Watching the enormous mushroom cloud, Gu Changye felt his entire worldview shatter.
Everyone at the base knew Commander Gu had found himself a three-year-old little burden.
People sighed. The poor child had no mother to love her, was illiterate and only knew how to play in the dirt. She was destined to grow up and get married.
Gu Suisui quietly listened, looked at the drawing she'd just finished, titled "Improved Propellant Design for the Third-Generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile," then glanced at the pile of wrecked tanks waiting for her to "fix them up."
"Dad, this mud isn't fun. I want to play with that flying big firecracker."
Later, at the nation's highest-level classified meeting,
a group of white-haired academicians argued furiously over a formula.
Gu Changye calmly pulled out his daughter's doodle book. "Stop arguing. Suisui says adding a minus sign here will make it fly beyond the atmosphere."
The academicians: "..."
At three and a half, Gu Suisui had a White Rabbit candy in one hand and a blueprint in the other.
Who would dare call her a burden?
She was clearly the nation's "apple of its eye" and the entire military region's "little ancestor!"
Although it's not very practical, it's still watchable. I don't know if it's because of my laughter, but I think it's a bit funny 🙂
It's great to watch so far👌Looking forward to the excellent works in the future
Fantasy but beautiful! The three-year-old is full of positive energy👍
I hope the research here is actually invented, ugh 😔
The story is wonderful!!
Not bad and passable
The writing is really, really good, but there are too many crying scenes. Can you write the next chapter quickly? I want Mommy to be resurrected.
A well-written novel by a talented and cute kid that is worth reading.
Like, praise, praise, praise, praise👍
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
