[Two male leads] [A frail, aloof fox demon who says one thing but means another × a sunny, troublemaking cat demon who acts on autopilot]
Lin Mo was born with out-of-control spiritual power and a frail constitution. As a descendant of the nine-tailed foxes, he lives every day on tenterhooks.
Until one rainy night, when he finds a freezing little kitten by the roadside.
Everyone knows the nine-tailed fox clan puts self-preservation first and sees all living beings as insects. No one understands why Lin Mo would go out of his way to do something so unnecessary.
After bringing the kitten home, Lin Mo does everything he can to give it the best care, hoping only that it will survive.
But one day, he wakes to find the kitten gone, and a beautiful boy with cat ears and a tail sitting beside his bed.
The boy blinks his brilliant, sunlike golden eyes and throws himself at Lin Mo with a beaming smile. “Master!”
Lin Mo remains calm on the outside, but inside, his thoughts are in turmoil. Wait, isn’t this the young lord of the cat demon clan, the sworn enemy of the foxes for a thousand years?
And all this time, he thought it was just a pitiful stray cat in need of protection…
