[Dahlia]× [Black Swan]× [Evernight]× [Path of Remembrance]× [Honkai: Star Rail Fanfiction]× [Nurturing Emotions]× [Memory Specimens]
Emotions can be “nurtured,” and they can also be “stolen.”
I, Lin Xiao, was an ordinary college student until I unexpectedly became Dahlia's “emotion keeper.” My ability isn't combat. I can sense and sustain humanity's most precious emotions. But I discovered that my father's loneliness, my mother's pretense, my friend's regret, and other intense feelings had long since been marked. The interstellar Garden of Recollection is turning them into cold memory specimens.
Living symbiotically with me is Dahlia, a nonhuman girl born from my despair. Beautiful and dangerous, she is my only weapon against the invasion. We face Black Swan, an elegant and mysterious collector who upholds the mission of “preserving eternity,” as well as the even more terrifying Evernight, who intends to erase all memories.
This is a covert war fought in convenience stores, hospitals, and comic conventions. We nurture hope, they collect pain, and a third party wants to reduce everything to nothingness. In this world, which has been declared “dead long ago,” my companions and I, the most ordinary mortals, have decided to fight for the “right of memories to live.”
We refuse to become specimens, and we refuse to be completely forgotten. We will take a third path. Even if our candle burns faintly, we will carve out our own shape in the approaching long night.
Not bad, but the content is a bit lacking
The writing is really delicate.
A novel with great potential, it's just a shame.
The writing is delicate and the plot is novel. It is a rare book about Dahlia. It is a good book (Black Swan Chef may not be able to accept it)
It's really well written
Come on, author 😄😄😄, I've read a lot about my tastes, and found that there aren't many writing about black swans and dahlias, although the core is a bit depressing.
I feel like this author will definitely write about knives later.
