War of Resistance: Rising from the Defense of Nanjing

December 6, 1937, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu.

When history enthusiast Chen Wei wakes up, he finds himself lying in a freezing trench. Japanese artillery roars in the distance, and the blood-soaked earth lies beneath his feet. He has transmigrated to the eve of the defense of Nanjing.

There is no thrill of a golden finger sweeping all before him, only the heavy burden of a nation in ruins. Chen Wei knows he cannot change the entire course of the battle on his own, but he can do one thing: cut off the Japanese troops encircling Nanjing and open a way out for the defenders and civilians inside the city.
