The four great families of City A, Xiahou, Shangguan, Ouyang, and Huangfu, control half the city’s transport, pharmaceuticals, ancient martial arts, and military industries. They appear to be close as one family, but each has their own plans. Then one day, Ling Xi, the mysterious young daughter of the Ling family from City S, suddenly arrives in City A. She has the luck of a living mascot, and her good fortune is almost absurd: she wins a grand prize while drinking milk tea, stumbles across a trade secret while out walking, and even manages to expose schemes by accident while arguing with people.
Xiahou Jin: “Ling Xi, stay away from me. Your luck is contagious!”
Ling Xi, after turning around and winning the lottery jackpot: “Oh? Want to share some good luck, Third Young Master Xiahou?”
Bai Ruowei, tripping over the trap she set herself: “You... you’re all picking on me!”
The four young masters, munching on sunflower seeds in unison: “Miss Bai, today’s show is even better than yesterday’s.”
And so begins a romantic comedy blending bickering couples, family feuds, and the satisfying comeuppance of despicable villains.
