“I’ll win the world for you.
The price is that you’ll never find me.”
Everyone in the capital laughed at the young master of the Shangshu residence, calling him useless. Only the disgraced Third Prince knew that this good-for-nothing was the one “waning moon” who could help him topple the old dynasty and establish a new one.
He thought he was using that wastrel,
never knowing that from the very first moment they met,
the other man’s countdown had already begun.
“Your Highness, I’m here to collect the interest. I want the throne, and I want… you, too.”
Only when “Chenyu” shed his human disguise
did the name “Song Qi’an” find its way into the history books.
But the court historian’s brush stopped on the night of the coronation:
The new emperor sat alone in the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
The snow melted on the steps. All he found was a peanut shell,
engraved with “Censor” on one side and “Imperial Power” on the other.
The one who used to do his makeup would never come back.
It's the most ruthless protagonist I've ever seen 😄 It's amazing. I was still wondering why the protagonist was in this place and that place, but it turned out to be a stand-in. I watched half of it in one night, and the pace was very fast. But there are some parts that I don't quite understand. I'll continue after I finish. I have an opinion, ber? Isn't this ending wrong? It's not right, the protagonist is so miserable, he has no soldiers in the war, he is poisoned, his flesh is cut out, and his life is short. The emotional line is not bad, but the part about Jade Faced Shura I thought it was time travel or a game, the experimental terminology is a bit strange. Dude, you, the emperor, are so frustrated. Whose emperor has such a miserable life, and there are problems everywhere when he becomes one? [Petrochemical] If you can't let it go, you can't let it go. Social problems are serious, and the protagonist is not the emperor. I thought he wanted to create a world without the emperor class. [Petrochemical] So many people have been killed, and so many things have been done, and in the end you don't even give me a good ending? I think there should be a better social environment, right? There has to be a way to solve the scourge of the court, so it ended in a hurry? O_o
There's a lot of foreshadowing, and it's good. The writing is very good and beautiful.
