After Interviewing the Wrong Person, a Hong Kong Mogul Forced Me to Marry Him

“Five stars for service, five stars for looks, three stars for technique… still needs practice.”

After one wild night, Wen Ruan mistook Fu Yanci, the richest man in Harbor City, for the club’s top male escort. She left 520 yuan and a review slip before fleeing.

Fu Yanci, the trillion-yuan head of the Fu family, suffered from severe bipolar disorder. But he discovered that Wen Ruan was the only “medicine” that could soothe him. Staring at the few hundred yuan, he laughed in fury and ordered a citywide hunt: “Bring back that audacious woman!”

When they met again, Wen Ruan was being bullied at work and pressured by her stepmother to marry. Fu Yanci posed as a “driver,” claiming he was just an employee, the car belonged to his boss, and his prayer beads were cheap knockoffs. Wen Ruan believed him. Desperate to escape her predicament, she even offered, “I’ll support you, but you’re done with that line of work!” Fu Yanci played along, and the two married in a whirlwind.

Then one day, a global financial summit was being broadcast live.

The “undercover husband” who usually unclogged her toilet and rode an electric scooter appeared in a bespoke suit, surrounded by adoring admirers, his presence so cold and imposing that everyone bowed before him.

A reporter asked, “Mr. Fu, we hear you’ve been taking time off lately?”

Fu Yanci raised the thermos in his hand toward the camera. “Yes. I’m at home making brown sugar water for my wife.”

The entire internet crashed!

Wen Ruan stared at the man on TV, dumbfounded. “I thought your undercover mission was to go dig coal in Africa?!”
