Crossing the Mortal World with a Sword: A Masterless Wanderer’s Journey

No brainless protagonist, no System. An ordinary mortal's journey, farming, rebuilding a sect, and saving all living beings.

An orphan from a mountain village encounters a calamity and unexpectedly meets a Daoist from a fallen sect, taking him as his master.

But his cheap master dies just one day after they meet, leaving him only an immortal tome and a sword, so he must teach himself.

Follow a naive young man as he learns on his own, finds the path to immortality amid the mire of the martial world, and saves all living beings.

What is the Dao? What is chivalry? The human path is faint and far-reaching; the immortal path, boundless and indistinct.

The highest goodness is like water, dwelling in places others disdain. The greatest hero acts for all living beings.

I bathe in three thousand moons of light and drink a cup of sorrow. I ride my sword above the clouds, smiling as I gaze upon the mortal world below.

My destiny in this life is to rebuild the Jinghua Sect and save all living beings from the brink of ruin.
