On the Tianyuan Continent, three kingdoms stand against one another.
The Chaoyang Kingdom lies at the easternmost edge and is the strongest of the three.
The Northern Qi Kingdom lies in the far north. Its people are brave warriors with strong physiques.
The Nanyuan Kingdom lies in the far south. It is a nation that puts women first and excels at using poison.
At the westernmost edge lies an ancient primeval forest. Legend has it that another continent exists beyond the forest, home to a powerful nation: the Taiyuan Empire.
The ruler of the Taiyuan Empire, Dugu Shaoyu, is a peerless martial artist with profound inner power who reigns supreme over the world.
Yue Shuli, the legitimate princess of the Chaoyang Kingdom, grew up coddled and indulged, always getting whatever she wanted. As a result, she became fiery-tempered and was either making trouble or on her way to making trouble every day.
Years ago, the Taiyuan Empire lost one of its national treasures, the Liuli Lamp.
To find it, Dugu Shaoyu assumed the name Mu Nan and came to the Chaoyang Kingdom. The moment Yue Shuli saw him, she fell for his looks.
From then on, wherever Dugu Shaoyu went, he had a little tail: Yue Shuli.
When another kingdom attacked her homeland, Yue Shuli grabbed her saber and headed for the battlefield.
Dugu Shaoyu rubbed his temples helplessly. “Put down the saber. Which kingdom do you want destroyed? I'll destroy it.”
A saying soon spread across the Tianyuan Continent: “The legitimate princess of the Chaoyang Kingdom has a loyal, lovesick warrior god who attacks wherever the princess points.”
Under Yue Shuli's “command,” the Tianyuan Continent was united.
They thought their happy life would go on forever, but then the princess's loyal warrior god disappeared.
From then on, Yue Shuli set out on a journey to find her loyal warrior god.
