When pain becomes language, love is twisted into control.
In her third year of junior high school, Jiang Wanyu was caught in the fatal attraction between Shen Jin. On top of the ruins of her original family, she wrote a distress signal by self-destructing.
This is a long journey without miracles. Between suffocating love and silent injury, she must learn to breathe in pain and practice control in losing control.
Years later, the scars on her wrists faded into light lines, like a map of her own. There was no radiant salvation, only a handful of glimmers penetrating the deep sea.
The final lesson that life taught her was: how to drink a glass of water of just the right temperature alone after the stormy waves.

Author's Statement: When Trauma Becomes Literature
This novel was not born from imagination, but grew from my veins. It originated from a diagnosis, the scars arrayed on my wrist, the green crosslight in the drugstore late at night, and countless swings between self-destruction and self-rescue.
About reality
I wrote down conversations that I dared not put in my diary, and reproduced scenes where hope disappeared forever. The note in Jiang Wanyu's drawer has my handwriting, and the blood flowing in front of the bakery window has my temperature. This is not "based on a true event," this is the event itself - it's just that I chose to use the third-person perspective to conduct a belated autopsy for my fifteen-year-old self.
About darkness
Some readers said it was too depressing. Yes, I deliberately retained that feeling of nausea. When you read the second chapter, you felt suffocated. That was the resonance of my physiological nausea when I was writing. I have no right to package suffering into exquisite commodities, and can only put unbeautified lesions on the dissecting table.
About healing
This is not a "rescued" story. I hate those saviors who come suddenly. Real recovery is more like the long formation of callus after a fracture, invisible, but happening every day. Lin Xi is not the sun, she is just a beam of light that happens to shine into the crack. What Jiang Wanyu finally learned is not how to chase the light, but how to remember the few seconds he was illuminated after the light leaves.
About the ending
Some people ask why it is not HE. I think that when a person can calmly read a book in a cafe, and the scars on the wrist no longer burn but become as natural as palm prints, this is the most luxurious triumph of a survivor. Happiness will betray you, but peace is dug out of the ruins by you personally, and it will always belong to you.
Finally
I wrote this novel to give a coordinate to all those who have counted their breaths in the dark: "Look, I was here too, and now, I can use words to show you the terrain here." The wound may never disappear, but it can become the toughest latitude and longitude of your soul.
This is both a medical record and a challenge to the world: I stand here with all the cracks, and light is growing out of the cracks.
(Reading tip: This story contains detailed descriptions of psychological trauma, self-harm, and pathological relationships. It has a heavy tone, so please choose with caution.)
Reading this novel made my heart tighten, as if I was being squeezed gently. The author is so good at writing. What he wrote is not a story of "a girl wants to commit suicide", but her every second of struggle, fear and the weak "not wanting to die" are broken apart and crushed for you to see.
The most powerful ones are the metaphors: drops of blood are like ripe fruits, fear becomes a calculable space, the silence of the family is charging, you don't feel that she is speaking big words, but you really get under the girl's skin and see the world with her eyes. Everything is very dark, but occasionally there is the sweetness of a piece of rock sugar pear, or a hug from the younger brother, like a small spark that suddenly lights up in the darkness.
It is not easy, even a little depressing, but you can't help but turn page after page because it is so real, just like hearing the suppressed crying coming from next door late at night. You know that is the other side of life, cruel, but must be seen.
Overall, this is a very good article. I am very impressed that it has reached this level after I just started writing it👍🏻👍🏻. This not only combines himself but also connects thousands of similar people, reflecting the author's unique insights into life. Showing the fragile yet tenacious complexity of life.
Pain is a silent cry and a sign of long-term self-healing. This is not only the author's personal history of self-healing, but also a gentle acceptance of life - there is no need to insist on perfection, learning to coexist with pain and settling the past alone is the best fulfillment for oneself.
The atmosphere at the beginning of this article is a bit depressing, but after reading it carefully, you will find that it profoundly highlights a person who seems to be happy in her original family (did you talk about this? I'm not sure 😅), but she is surrounded by "love" that suffocates her. Whether it is her parents or him, they love her and control her at the same time. The heroine feels confused about this, so she is looking for her own answer in her own way. After taking action, she works hard to live. Although the process may be difficult and tortuous, when the glimmer of light shines into her life, the way forward will be illuminated.
The author's writing style makes this novel look like more than just a novel, but more like a flesh-and-blood documentary story! Different people have different shining points in the author's writings. The atmosphere of youth literature is very strong!
The characters are well drawn.
A good opening, attractive.
In reality, the drop is quite a lot! Oh
Is this really love? I don't think so.
I think it's vanity, vanity is at work!
The writing is good and the story looks okay.
Modern Romance. This book is really sweet. I like it. People who read it will feel itchy in their hearts. I will continue to read [laughs]
