After the Twin Spirit Emperors defeated the Demon Emperor's demonic will, their bodies were burned away by Jin Wuliang's golden flames. Yet in the Demon Spirit Sect in the Celestial Realm, a fragment of that demonic will survived. It eventually turned into the power of vengeful spirits and scattered throughout the Spirit Realm! From then on, vengeful spirits plagued the Spirit Realm, harming its people.
Ning Jinxuan, son of the Demon Spirit Emperor, was born with a Sacred Body of Demonic Resentment! During one outburst of demonic transformation, he lost control and gravely injured one of Immortal Realm Sword Immortal Yu's guardian beasts. To answer for it to Sword Immortal Yu, Ning Jinxuan's mother extracted all the demonic resentment from his body and sealed it inside an ancient stone. This cost him all his strength. She also punished him by sending him to the Spirit Realm to eliminate the vengeful spirits harming its people. At the same time, she instructed him to find someone with a Sacred Body of Spiritual Affinity who could resonate with his demonic resentment. He would only be allowed to return to the Immortal Realm after learning to truly control it and eradicate the threat to the Spirit Realm. Until then, his parents would not intervene or help him unless absolutely necessary!
For his safety, his good friend Chen Jiangming went with him. The two arrived in Xin City, Youzhou, in the Spirit Realm. Since the money their parents had given them was barely enough to buy a luxurious house, they needed to earn a living. With his spiritual power gone, Ning Jinxuan had no choice but to set up a fortune-telling stall, while Chen Jiangming made money exorcising demons for the people.
Ning Jinxuan couldn't care less about finding the person with a Sacred Body of Spiritual Affinity his parents had told him to seek, and the two spent a whole year in Youzhou! It wasn't until later, when he met the female lead, Shen Nian, and went through several heartbreaking experiences, that Ning Jinxuan finally grew up...
Great! The plot is very good! The main line is clear!
