[Brainless cool article] [Non-official history] [Fighting the Tartars]
In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), the Jiashen Kingdom changed.
This is an era of disintegration. Li Zicheng's army broke into Beijing, and Emperor Chongzhen committed suicide in Meishan; outside Shanhaiguan, Dorgon's Eight Banners cavalry was about to sweep through the Central Plains; and in the far south, the decadent Nanming court was still drunkenly dreaming and dying by the Qinhuai River, fighting to support the new emperor.
Facing the invincible land hegemony of the Qing Dynasty, Zheng Shaoyuan refused the quagmire of a land war that would lead to defeat. Starting from Songjiang Prefecture, he used the Zheng family's maritime resources to seize exiled craftsmen and wealth to build a modern navy that transcended the times.
Now that the land has become a Shura field, we should ask the ocean for the right to exist. Monopolized trade with Japan, expelled the Dutch East India Company, and colonized the Southeast Asian Islands. He wanted to use the broadside salvo of the sail battleship to break the shackles of the old era; he wanted to use the torrent of commerce and steel to strangle the Qing Dynasty's economy.
This is a story of changing one's fate against the odds in a desperate situation, and it is also an iron-blooded epic that uses sea power to recast the backbone of China.

Brother, please read more. If you can't read enough, just focus on the first three chapters. This book is absolutely good. More than 95% of the Mingchuan texts. I heard that the Mingchuan book takes at least 10,000+ hours. The characters have personalities and are not NPCs, there are no obvious common sense errors, the protagonist is not overpowered, and the most important story is told smoothly. Also, is the protagonist wearing clothes? I wonder if this will be explained later.
Shennong couldn't stand it anymore, it was too poisonous.
The writing is just okay, it's a pure and refreshing novel. Many places are a bit exaggerated, like cheating, but the protagonist is actually a Chinese-Japanese mixed race, which is not good.
