On the first day I moved into my new apartment, I found a red note in the mailbox:
"Don't open the door to any knock after ten o'clock every night, even if it sounds like me."
I laughed and threw it into the trash can as a prank.
Until late at night, heart-rending screams came from next door——
And there was a knock on my door.
My mother's gentle voice was outside the door: "Nanny, open the door. Mom has given you a midnight snack."
But my mother just went abroad on a business trip yesterday.
