A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality: Secretly Taking Venerable Han’s Share

I wake up to find that I've become a menial disciple of the Seven Mysteries Sect, in the same generation as Han Li.

I thought I'd drawn a hellish start, but who knew I'd be bound to the [Reverse Fortunes] System:

Han Li obtains the Evergreen Technique → I automatically receive a fragment of the "Ancient Demon Longevity Scripture"

Han Li discovers the Heaven Palming Bottle → I get a replica formation diagram (even though I can't afford a single spirit stone)

Han Li joins Yellow Maple Valley → I get the complete map of the flaws in its mountain-protecting formation

Han Li succeeds at Foundation Establishment → I unlock a secret demonic method for empowerment, and my cultivation level skyrockets!

As Old Demon Han struggles desperately through one deadly peril after another up ahead, all I have to do is hide in the shadows, drink tea, and split off clones. Every fortune that comes his way is automatically “copy-pasted” into my hands, and sometimes mine is even more advanced and complete.

I've figured it out: this isn't a hellish start at all. It's a VIP cultivation idle-game trial pass!
