Xialong Town.
A week ago, a unit arrived from the provincial capital to recruit talented people and enlist new soldiers in the villages and towns!
Over the past few days, the unit had met with great success in the villages around Xialong Town. They were pleased with their new recruits. Not all of them were built like oxen, but they were all energetic young people.
That day, recruitment came to an end. Everyone packed their belongings, said goodbye to their families, and climbed aboard the vehicles that had come to pick them up.
The company commander in the vehicle looked sternly at the soldier in charge of registration, then nodded. “All right! Move out!”
