Three Years After Our Breakup, the Dumped Mr. Lu Became My Boss

[A second chance at love vs. a reunion after years apart] Both leads have only ever been with each other, one-on-one romance Three years ago, Xu Qinghuan made the first move on Lu Yu, the poor campus heartthrob. She boldly confessed, “I like you.” On the day they broke up, she saw him sitting among a crowd, looking utterly untouchable. So much for being a poor campus heartthrob. He'd been lying to her all along. She left without looking back. Three years later, she reunites with Lu Yu. She is a designer returning from studying abroad, and he has become her boss. In public, they act as if they don't know each other. A colleague asks her, “Don't you know Mr. Lu?” Xu Qinghuan replies coldly, “No.” The man behind her pauses mid-step. In private, Lu Yu grips her waist tightly. “You don't know me?” Xu Qinghuan says, “A decent ex should be as good as dead.” Lu Yu gives a chilly smile. “I'm not dead. Sorry to disappoint you.” She doesn't know that during every day and night he couldn't find her, he died a thousand deaths. For three years, Lu Yu couldn't figure it out. “You said you liked me, so why did you leave me?” He thought Xu Qinghuan would keep her head down and behave. Lu Yu would take his revenge. Until one day, everyone sees the lofty Mr. Lu pitifully tugging at a woman's hem. “Don't be mad anymore, okay?”
