The House's Lament

It is difficult to follow the right path, but the original intention should not be lost - my thoughts after reading "The Sorrow of Fang" After reading "The Sorrow of Fang", I couldn't calm down for a long time. This realistic novel, which revolves around real estate interests, power disputes, and the game of human nature, uses a heavy and cold perspective to tear apart the darkness and greed hidden behind the prosperous real estate market. A dispute over a house eventually evolved into a tragic song of fate for countless people. Every word directly touches the heart and makes people think deeply. A house is a place to stay and a home, and it is what ordinary people look forward to throughout their lives. But in an environment where interests are intertwined and lust for power is rampant, it has become a bait of desire, a tool of corruption, and a touchstone of human nature. The various plots in the book that revolve around real estate projects, collusion of interests, and back-room operations vividly depict the sway of human nature in the face of money, the unscrupulous methods of the powerful for personal gain, and the helplessness and struggle of the little people in the torrent. In order to make huge profits from real estate, some people abandon their bottom line, collude with the dark, and get deeper and deeper into their desires; some people stick to their hearts and pursue the truth, but have to face heavy oppression and danger; some people are trapped in it, and if they make a wrong step, they will suffer for half their lives. What is the sorrow of the house? What is a tragedy is the supposed pure ideal of living, which is tainted by interests; what is a tragedy is fairness and justice, which is trampled on in secret operations; what is a tragedy is the expectation of countless ordinary people for a stable life, which is shattered in the transaction of power and money; what is also a tragedy is the tragedy of people in the whirlpool, being pulled between desire and conscience, sinking, and falling. The tall buildings rising from the ground may seem glamorous, but behind them are hidden conspiracies, lies, and blood and tears. Under every inch of steel and concrete, human greed and the helplessness of the world are buried. The most touching thing in the novel is never the twists and turns of the conspiracy, but the glimmer of justice that still refuses to be extinguished in the darkness. In the turbid chess game of interests, there are always people who are unwilling to join the others, who are not afraid of the oppression of powerful people, who are persistent in exposing the truth and protecting the most basic rights and interests of ordinary people. This also made me understand that what is truly heartbreaking is never the house itself, but the loss of people's hearts; what is truly valuable is keeping one's bottom line and conscience in the face of all the glitz and temptation. Close the book and meditate, it is not easy to live in peace, and it is even harder to keep your mind. "House of Sorrow" not only writes about the disputes and sadness behind the property market, but also always reminds us: no matter what kind of temptation we are in, don't abandon your true heart for the sake of immediate interests, and don't let what should be a warm home turn into an abyss where your conscience is buried. Only by adhering to the right path and being reverent can we maintain our own stable world in the complicated world.
