My parents live by the rule that they settle disputes but never judge them.
No matter how much my little sister and I fight or argue, they never step in.
“Parents can’t act as judges and decide who’s right or wrong. You’d definitely think it was unfair.”
“So between you sisters, if you’re strong enough, take what you want from each other. If you’re not, learn to behave yourselves.”
“Don’t come tattling. I’ll punish whoever does!”
But I could never beat my fierce little sister.
Snacks, toys, pretty dresses: none of them ever made it into my hands, and she’d even beat me up!
To avoid getting hit again, I stopped fighting and arguing with her.
Then my kitten got sick, and I took out my piggy bank to pay for its treatment.
That was when I discovered it was completely empty!
My sister laughed and said,
“I spent all the money in there ages ago.”
“That little beast can just wait to die!”
I lost control and went crying to Mom to complain.
But she gave me the same answer as always:
“I’m not getting involved in things between you sisters!”
Here comes the fake person, insulting my glasses
