Bringing China's Songbook to Ancient Times to Hold Concerts

Xia Jingshu and her classmates were watching a proposal downstairs from the balcony when she accidentally fell. By the time she woke up, she had transmigrated to the Great Yue dynasty.

It was an ancient society where the arts flourished. Xia Jingshu was an orphan and had no way to survive, so she was about to sell herself to a brothel as a singer. But she was too thin, and the madam made her work as a servant first. When someone wanted to buy her for the night, she refused and was beaten until her head was covered in blood. When she woke up, she had become the modern-day Xia Jingshu again.

Once she came to, Xia Jingshu wrote all kinds of songs. Even princes and young ladies came to listen.

She wrote melodies while running a small business on the side.

(The female lead won’t get rich, just fairly well-off.)
