“A thousand years is too long. I only ask for morning and evening.”
An explosion at the Hongxiang Folk Customs Museum sends Zhao Jue hurrying back halfway through his vacation. The antiques he had once appraised have been reduced to fragments, taking up most of his studio. Among the debris, however, he discovers a painting he has never seen before.
A dark red palace hall, a chaotic array of furnishings, and a heterochromatic black cat curled up beneath the ruins.
He goes to every length to buy the painting at auction and hang it in his home. From then on, one eerie incident follows another.
A shattered glass, torn curtains, and mysterious bite marks that appear on his arm.
Meanwhile, A University assigns a history scholar to work as an intern with them. Calm, quiet, and beautiful, with impressive expertise, he looks refined behind his half-rimmed glasses.
Until one day, Zhao Jue sees a pair of heterochromatic cat eyes behind those glasses...
Irreverent antique restorer bottom VS younger, gloomy, two-faced green-tea spirit cat and history scholar top
Past and present lives, spirit beasts, mending a broken relationship, folk customs
Both pure, 1v1
The bottom has a bad temper, and the top isn't very bright.
It's so good!!! I didn't see any reviews at first, and I didn't have any expectations. There was a book shortage recently, so I thought I'd just open a book and read it, and if it didn't look good, I'd look for it again. It turned out to be a good read! I finished reading it, and the writing is good! Recommended! The setting of the National Master and Maomao really attracted me when I first read it!
The author writes very well, very beautiful
