Lin Daiyu’s Tears Aren’t for Romance

Tears from a past life beat against the chains of feudalism; in this life, her eyes reflect the light of freedom. This Daiyu is no longer the girl who only knows how to weep.

Who still says Daiyu's tears are only shed for love? The tears she shed at Qinfang Gate in her past life spoke out against all the women whose talent was buried and whose lives were shackled. The traces left on her handkerchief were the first echo of a challenge to feudal ethics. That was no weak attachment, but the most painful cry of someone who saw the truth.

In this life, she returns with the tear tracks of her past life still fresh, but no longer drowns her feelings in tears. She speaks out when she sees injustice and breaks free when she is constrained. Even the light in her eyes burns more fiercely than the moonlight of her former life. As the scent of jasmine drifts along a new path, she finally becomes the person she wanted to save in her past life but could not: she doesn't change her fate with tears, but rewrites it herself, bringing warmth to the life she creates.
