In 'Xingang City' in 2047, the city is fully controlled by the giant company 'Cyber Eye' through neural interfaces and AI monitoring systems. Memories can be edited, emotions can be modulated, and identities can be tampered with. Chen Mo was once a member of the system, but chose to escape after witnessing his wife's mental breakdown due to the 'emotional regulation' program. He hid underground in the city and became a 'memory restorer', restoring the memories of those whose truths had been erased by the system. As he fixes more and more cases, a deliberately concealed conspiracy emerges - a 'cognitive cleansing' plan targeting the bottom population is being implemented.
